Founding LDKY President Jamie Estes, Founder & President of Estes Public Relations, is recognized in Louisville Business First's annual salute to professional women who are making a difference in business and the community. The Business Women First Enterprising Women program will sponsor an in-person event in September at the Kentucky International Convention Center that includes lunch, speakers and a business expo. Jamie was also inducted into the Bluegrass Chapter of Public Relations Society’s Hall of Fame in 2020.

LDKY President & Book Author Susan Reigler, announces international awards bestowed upon her 2 books published last year. Which Fork Do I Use with My Bourbon? Setting the Table for Tastings, Food Pairings, Dinners, and Cocktail Parties won the General Cookbooks category of the 2021 International Book Awards sponsored by American Book Fest & Kentucky Bourbon Country: The Essential Travel Guide (3rd ed) won the Bronze Medal in the Independent Publishers Awards Travel books.

Nicole Stipp’s Trouble Bar, a Shelby Park watering hole in Louisville, was listed as one of the 2021 best bars in America by Esquire Magazine. Trouble is the only KY bar included in Esquire's ranking.

LDEI President Judith Hollis Jones, President & CEO of Buzzard’s Roost Spirits, LLC is pleased to announce that Buzzard’s Roost Spirits, LLC has entered the Massachusetts market with their rye products. Maggie Green RDN, cookbook author and former Joy of Cooking editor, launched the Get Paid to Get Published group coaching program in November 2020. Inside this 12-month online program, Maggie leads food & nutrition experts who want to get paid to write a cookbook so they don’t have to spend their own money to get published. Abbey Mueller, Exec Dir of Abigail Academy Foundation & Life Coach for Girls & Moms, announces that The Abigail Academy Life Skills Center for Girls in Louisville KY will host it's 8th summer of culinary arts camps in The Springhurst Shopping Center. Campers aged 5-13 select five fun options to complete during the week with an emphasis on culinary practice, patience, and confidence. Jerilan Greene, Yum!’s Global Chief Communications and Public Affairs Officer, has been named by PRWeek to its 2021 Halle of Femme awards, which recognize the women in the communications industry who “stepped up to the plate in the past year and decades prior.” For Jerilan, “2020 was a year of making one pivot after another, only made possible for me through collaboration and leaning on my talented colleagues across Yum!…”

April 8: LDKY President Susan Reigler & co-author Peggy Noe Stevens will hold a live, outdoor bourbon tasting in Atlanta for that city’s branch of Bourbon Women and sign copies of their book, Which Fork Do I Use with My Bourbon?
